MEASUREMENT APPLICATIONs

Professional measuring systems and data acquisition devices have to store relevant data under worth environmental conditions. MEMO CARDs are the storage modules that provides reliable function and secure storage of important data.

MEMO CARDs offer easy handling and reliable data-storage because of their construction they withstand all severe environmental influences.

The MEMO CARD system works solid state - without motors, relais or magnets - so it is best possible resistant against mechanical stress like shocks and vibrations.

Another feature, given by the solid state construction: MEMO CARDs can easily operate battery powered because of their low power consumption.

The sum of these features make MEMO CARDs the perfect transportable memory medium for professional measurement applications.

SCIENTIFIC MEASURING IN SPACE

MEMO CARDs are used in scientific applications, such as Data-Storage-Modules in scientific mass spectrometry equipment.

To date, the most noteworthy location of a MEMO CARD is on the MIR space station. MEMO CARD where chosen for the MIR-Application because it offers reliable data storage and easy usage.

OUTDOOR MEASURING EQUIPMENT

The outdoor use for MEMO CARDs is limitless: environmental measurement systems, hydrologic measurement, meteorologic measurement systems, petrol-pipeline equipment and surveying systems in the field are just some of them.

Using MEMOs automatic datalogger interface, sensors are connected over RS232 directly with MEMOs read/write-unit and data is logged onto the MEMO CARDs automatically.

ENVIRONMENTAL DATA ACQUISITION

Monitoring systems for meteorological information, water level control systems, solar energy systems, glacial movement monitors, tide monitoring, etc. are just some examples of how MEMO CARDS can be used for data storage and transfer.

Such systems frequently must operate in extreme weather conditions.
