CONTACTLESS PC-READER for MEMO CARDS

MEMO International Ltd. the leading manufacturer of contactless memory cards for data storage under rugged environmental conditions expands its range of external readers by a new version that communicates over the popular CENTRONICS printer port.

The new PARALLEL OFFICE BOX is now in its introduction phase and will quickly win allot of applications due too its 3x faster operation and less configuration demand. The set comes complete with MEMOWIN software, cables, and wide range power supply.

MEMOWIN supports several interface types that are offered by MEMO readers, which are ATA-interface board, COM and CENTRONICs under the common operating systems of WIN95/98, WIN2K, NT4.0 and WIN XP.

MEMO CARDs are mainly used for data storage in mobile data acquisition devices such as "black box" accident recorders, mobile weighing systems on trucks, mining equipment, environmental data acquisition, industrial control, etc. While typically data is written onto contactless MEMO CARDs in the vehicle or in the field under severe conditions where GSM and RF transmission are not possible or not wanted.

The cards are then brought to the office for read out and data analysis. In the office the most important feature is speed, which is provided by the NEW PARALLEL OFFICE BOX at the same price as the serial version.
